In 2010, the Harper
government seeks
expert economic
advise on spending

The Harper government is asking informed Canadians what Ottawa's spending priorities should be in the
lean times when the
recession deficits have to be whittled away. The first
session came Friday when Stephen Harper held an economic roundtable.

While it might seem politically unwise for governments to talk about the pain to come, the populist touch of asking for Canadians' opinions on facing tighter times could be politically very shrewd.

At Friday's roundtable, the participants concluded the session with an unanimous agreement to do their part. Spokesman, 9 year old Johnny Bywater proudly announced that they would be substituting peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for extravagant school cafeteria lunches and that perhaps the PM could do the same.

-WHAT THE HECK IS GOING HERE? >>

What the heck is going on here is this...

Our goal is to sell you a bobblehead of your favourite leading politician. Maybe even the entire set and...hopefully along the way...entertain you in the process with clever stories, cartoons and animations with the folks who would be king of Canada. Now, when somebody decides to get pushy and force or call an election, we will bust open doors and fire up the Electorial Shopping Cart, (it's been open for some time already), and begin posting our daily federal and provincial polls on this very web site. Each day we will post the latest polls based on bobblehead sales across the country and displayed in snappy, eyecatching, piechart fashion as shown below. So the higher the sales a particular leaders bobblehead has, the more support he/she and the party has in that province and that support figures into the federal portion of the poll.

This poll has the possibility to be a very accurate measure of party support provincially and nationwide.

So...lets all get on the early bandwagon and purchase your favorite leader's bobblehead today.
